This is a simple electrolyte detector based on transistor switch. Using the theory of a tap, we can control strong water flow with little strength. This is why I always refer to a transistor as a tap.
Required items:
- Transistor: 2N3904
- LED
- Battery: CR2032
Assembly instruction:
Connect the metal leads according to the circuit diagram, no soldering iron is required at all.
The device is able to detect the basic quality of water! As shown in the pictures below, after inserting the detecting leads into the body of water, if it contains ions, the LED will light up. The more ions, the brighter the LED will become.
